Stakeholder Engagement Programs

Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang (PUSRI) fully recognizes that the company’s success cannot be separated from the support and involvement of its stakeholders. Therefore, the company consistently implements stakeholder engagement programs as a tangible manifestation of open, participatory, and continuous communication with all parties connected to its business activities.

The implementation of stakeholder engagement activities is centrally coordinated through the Corporate Communication and Administration Department. This commitment is realized through regular activities such as visits and meetings with key stakeholders, including regulators, executives, legislators, and the media. Through these activities, the company maintains harmonious relationships while ensuring the creation of constructive two-way communication.

In handling stakeholder complaints, PUSRI has established a Quick, Responsive, and Proactive Team aimed at fostering information transparency and effective communication in managing the environment surrounding the company’s operations.

In implementing its social and environmental responsibility aspects, PUSRI is committed to actively involving stakeholders in the development of its Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Program. This involvement is carried out through Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with stakeholders as a platform for dialogue and aspiration gathering. Additionally, the company conducts an annual Environmental Satisfaction Survey to measure the community’s level of satisfaction with the implementation of the SER Program.

In 2024, the results of the Environmental Satisfaction Survey showed a score of 92.1, categorized as Very Satisfied. This achievement reflects the community’s appreciation and recognition of the quality of PUSRI’s SER Program implementation.

PUSRI remains committed to continuously improving the quality of its programs and ensuring that every SER Program initiative not only provides benefits but also creates a sustainable impact for the community, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Social Return On Investment

As part of the company’s commitment to support sustainable development, Social and Environmental Responsibility, and fulfill the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang has implemented a Community Development (Comdev) program that is based on local needs and measurable impact.

All Comdev programs are designed through social mapping with identification of needs of surrounding communities and stakeholders, so that the interventions are relevant and provide tangible benefits. To ensure the effectiveness of the program, the Company uses the Social Return on Investment (SROI) method and the Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) as a measure of social impact and community acceptance.

In 2024, the SROI measurement results for flagship programs showed positive achievements:

  • Healthy and Prosperous Kemaro Island : SROI 13.12
  • Healthy Village Program : SROI 3.15
  • South Sumatra BUMN House : SROI 3.89

These achievements reflect that every rupiah of social investment made by the Company has generated economic and social value that is multiplied for the beneficiary communities. This demonstrates the Company’s ongoing commitment to creating long-term social value.
